Chainparency

May 26, 2022 //  by Tom Buman

Free to Small Farmers:

Who says big farmers get all the breaks? I have some good news specifically directed to small farmers. Chainparency, a blockchain company, is providing complementary access to their software for the next year. Using blockchain technology, farmers can prove their food origin and chain of custody with a digitized record; providing a high level of transparency that will build trust between distributors and consumers.

Chainparency’s 12-month Global Acceleration Program for Sustainability (GAPS) program is designed to encourage and empower small family farmers to adopt new practices, digital solutions, and cutting-edge technologies. Chainparency is looking to help small farmers become more competitive in the marketplace by giving them tools to track and trace sustainability claims.

NOTE: If you are a company, or an organization, that works with small farmers who are producing identity preserved products, help all your small farmers by emailing GAPS@chainparency.com with a proposal. Chainparency will be happy to discuss options of how all your small farmers can use this free service to prove their food origin and chain of custody.

To qualify as a small farmer, applicants must be operating a farm in the USA and generate gross cash farm income of less than US $350,000 annually and complete the following application: GAPS Application Form

Chainparency Press Release:

At Chainparency we know small farmers want to be recognized and rewarded for growing sustainable crops and livestock. To do that, small farmers need access to tools allowing them to document and prove their claims of sustainability. The problem is small farmers lack the resources

to document claims of sustainability, leaving them to feel helpless and unappreciated. At Chainparency we want to provide easy to use tools that can track and prove your hard-earned sustainability claims. We understand your feeling of helplessness, which is why we are providing complementary access to our blockchain traceability platform for small farmers. Here’s how to get started 1) Complete the GAPS application 2) Chainparency will contact you to confirm your enrollment and provide you with the necessary training and background to get started 3) and then start documenting and digitally tracking your transactions to help substantiate your sustainability claims. If you are a small farmer, or want to help small farmers get signed up, start now. Chainparency can stop that feeling of helpless and get you started on the pathway to of higher profitability.
